Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2026 was a powerful reminder of something I strongly believe in.

Across the conversations, panels, and side meetings, one message stood out clearly: real impact starts when we focus on solving the problem, not chasing the money.

The most meaningful solutions I encountered were driven by purpose, clarity, and a deep understanding of the challenge at hand. Funding, partnerships, and growth followed naturally once the solution was solid and genuinely needed.

Too often, we reverse the order. We ask, “Where is the money?” before asking, “What problem are we truly solving?” ADSW reinforced for me that sustainability, innovation, and long-term success come from putting people, impact, and practicality first.When you solve a real problem well, the money will find its way to you.

This experience has strengthened my commitment to building solutions that matter, especially in Africa’s finance, climate, and development spaces.

Grateful for the insights, the people, and the reminder of why we do this work.
